I'm looking forward to what is likely going to be a well made series. The economy is likely going to be one of the factors people pay attention to (if they do, in fact, pay attention), so the timing couldn't be better.

As I have said before, my current presidential preference is Joe Blundo, because, as his campaign puts it, "Joe Blundo for President, unless you have a better idea." It seems that the last couple election years have brought presidential candidates that no one wants, and thus we are stuck choosing between the lesser of two evils.
I admit I do not know much about the policies of either McCain or Obama, but unfortunately, the educated are rarely the ones pampered to in an election, and facts and figures are found boring by the masses. It's usually the easily swayed by emotion who get the most attention with little focus on the exact plans of the candidates.

Well you're right--no one is truly without bias. But, from our previous in-depth political discussions, I know that you come to conclusions and choose sides based on a good mixture of empirical evidence and centrist ideology--so I don't think there will be *much* of a conservative slant. I wouldn't begin to place myself anywhere but left of center, but you've already hooked me as a reader.
